Ans:- 

★ Belle lived a life of luxury in the palace (প্রাসাদে বেল্ বিলাসবহুল জীবন কাটিয়েছিল।)

★ Invisible servants were ready to provide everything necessary. (প্রয়োজনীয় সবকিছু যোগান দেওয়ার জন্য অদৃশ্য ভৃত্যরা প্রস্তুত থাকত।)

★ She had no end of riches (তার ধনসম্পদের পরিমান ছিল প্রচুর।)

★ She also had an endless supply of fine clothes. (তার সুন্দর পোশাকের যোগান ছিল অফুরন্ত।)

Ans:- The merchant lived in a big mansion. But when he lost all his wealth in a tempest on sea, they had to move to a small farmhouse. (ব্যবসায়ীটি একটি বড়ো অট্টালিকায় থাকত। কিন্তু যখন সে তার সব সম্পত্তি সমুদ্রে ঝড়ে হারাল, তাদের একটা ছোটো খামার বাড়িতে উঠে যেতে হয়েছিল।)

Ans:-  Belle was the youngest daughter of a wealthy merchant (বেল্ ছিল এক ধনী ব্যবসায়ীর কণিষ্ঠা কন্যা।)

Ans:-  Belle was very lovely and pure at heart. (বেল্ ছিল ভীষণ সুন্দরী আর স্বচ্ছ হৃদয়ের।)

Ans:-  Belle had two elder sister. (বেলের দুটি বড়ো দিদি ছিল।)

Ans:- Belle sisters were wicked and selfish. (বেল্-এর দিদিরা ছিল দুষ্টু আর স্বার্থপর।)

Ans:- The merchant's family moved to a small farmhouse in a village to live. (ব্যবসায়ীর পরিবার বসবাসের জন্য গ্রামের এক ছোটো খামারবাড়িতে গিয়েছিল।)

Ans:-A tempest on sea had taken away all the wealth of the merchant and his fortune changed. From a big mansion they had to move to a small farmhouse in a village. They had to work hard to make their both ends meet (সমুদ্রে ঝড় ব্যাবসায়ীর সবকিছু কেড়ে নিয়েছিল এবং তার ফলে তার ভাগ্যের পরিবর্তন ঘটল। বিশাল অট্টালিকা থেকে তারা গ্রামের ছোটো বাড়িতে চলে গেল। তাদের জীবন নির্বাহের জন্য কঠোর পরিশ্রম করতে হত।)

Ans:-The elder daughters asked for jewels and fine dresses, but the youngest daughter Belle asked for a lovely rose that did not grow in that part of the country. (বড়ো মেয়েরা মণিমাণিক্য এবং সুন্দর পোশাক চেয়েছিল, কিন্তু ছোটো মেয়ে বেল্ চেয়েছিল একটি সুন্দর গোলাপ যা ঐ অঞ্চলে পাওয়া যেত না।)

Ans:- In the forest the merchant lost his way but suddenly found the castle. As he was looking for a shelter he went there. (জঙ্গলে ব্যাবসায়ীটি পথ হারিয়ে ফেলেছিল এবং হঠাৎ একটি দুর্গ দেখতে পেয়েছিল। যেহেতু সে আশ্রয়ের খোঁজ করছিল, তাই সে প্রাসাদে গিয়েছিল।)

Ans:- From the merchant the Beast demanded that he would have to return to the castle or his youngest daughter Belle should come to stay with the Beast of her own accord. (ব্যাবসায়ীর কাছ থেকে পশুটি দাবি করেছিল যে তাকে প্রাসাদে ফিরে আসতে হবে অথবা পশুটির সঙ্গে থাকবার জন্য ব্যাবসায়ীর কণিষ্ঠা কন্যা বেলুকে নিজের ইচ্ছায় আসতে হবে।)

Ans:- Belle went to the castle herself to save her father from the danger. Besides, she kept the promise that her father had made. (বেল্ পশুটির প্রাসাদে নিজেই গিয়েছিল তার পিতাকে বিপদ থেকে রক্ষা করার জন্য। তাছাড়া, তার পিতার দেওয়া কথা সে রেখেছিল।)

Ans:-The merchant lost all his wealth because his ships were lost in a tempest on sea. (ব্যাবসায়ীটি তার সময় সম্পত্তি হারিয়েছিল কারণ সমুদ্রের ঝড়ে তাঁর জাহাজ হারিয়ে গিয়েছিল।)

Ans:- The most precious possession was the lovely rose that the merchant had plucked from the Beasts garden. (সবচেয়ে মূল্যবান সম্পদটি হল সুন্দর গোলাপ যেটা ব্যাবসায়ীটি পশুর বাগান থেকে তুলেছিল।)

Ans:- Belle dreamt that a handsome prince asking her why she had been refusing the Beast to marry her. (বেল্ স্বপ্ন দেখত যে এক সুন্দর রাজকুমার তার থেকে জানতে চাইছে যে সে কেন পশুটির বিয়ের প্রস্তাব প্রত্যাখ্যান করছিল।)

Ans:- The Beast decided to kill the merchant because he had taken away the Beast's most precious possession in spite of taking his hospitality. (পশুটি ব্যাবসায়ীকে হত্যা করতে চেয়েছিল কারণ সে তার কাছ থেকে আতিথেয়তা গ্রহণ করা সত্ত্বেও তার সবচেয়ে মূল্যবান জিনিসটি নিয়ে যাচ্ছিল।)

Ans:-In his castle the Beast took utmost care of Belle. He gave her nice dresses and food and talked to her for long time. His invisible servants always waited for serving Bell. (প্রাসাদে পশুটি বেলের যথাসাধ্য দেখাশোনা করত। বেল্‌কে সে দারুণ সমস্ত পোশাক এবং খাবার দিত এবং তার সঙ্গে দীর্ঘ সময় কথা বলে কাটাত। তার অদৃশ্য ভৃত্যরা সবসময় বেল্-এর সেবা করার জন্য অপেক্ষা করত।)

Ans:- The prince was in the form of a beast who was living in the castle. So Belle failed to find the prince inspite of her search. (রাজকুমার একটি পশুর রূপ নিয়ে প্রাসাদে বসবাস করছিল। তাই বেল্ খোঁজ করা সত্ত্বেও তাকে খুঁজে পায়নি।)

Ans:- Belle took an enchanted mirror and a magic ring. She could see what was going on back | at the Beast's castle by the mirror and by the ring she could return to the castle at once (বেল্ তার সঙ্গে একটি জাদু আয়না এবং একটি আংটি নিয়েছিল। আয়নার দ্বারা দুর্গে কী ঘটছে তা দেখতে পেত এবং আংটির দ্বারা সে মুহুর্তের মধ্যে প্রাসাদে ফিরে আসতে পারত বলে সেগুলি সঙ্গে নিয়েছিল।)

Ans:- Long ago, the prince refused a fairy to enter the castle in rain. Being angry, the fairy changed him into an ugly beast with her curse. (বহুবছর আগে, রাজকুমার এক পরিকে বৃষ্টির মধ্যে দূর্গে প্রবেশ করতে দেয়নি। রেগে গিয়ে, পরি তাকে কুৎসিত পশুতে রূপান্তরিত করে।)

Ans:- Belle was allowed to go home provided she would come back exactly a week after. (ঠিক এক সপ্তাহ পরে ফিরে আসবে – এই শর্তে বেল্ তার বাড়ি যেতে পেরেছিল।)

Ans:- Seeing Belle happy her elder sisters became jealous and hoped that the Beast would eat Belle alive if she could not go on the certain day. So they did not let Belle go. (বেল্‌কে সুখী দেখে তার দিদিদের হিংসা হয়েছিল এবং তারা আশা করেছিল যে বেল্ নির্দিষ্ট দিনে পৌছতে না পারলে পশুটি তাকে জীবন্ত খেয়ে ফেলবে। তাই তারা বেল্‌কে যেতে দেয়নি।)

Ans:- They put onion in their eyes and made it appear as though they were weeping. (তারা তাদের চোখে পেঁয়াজ ঘষে নিল আর এমন দেখাল যেন তারা কাঁদছে।)

Ans:- She was horrified because she saw that the Beast was lying half-dead out of heartbreak. (সে আতঙ্কিত হয়েছিল কারণ সে দেখেছিল যে মনের দুঃখে পশুটি অর্ধমৃত অবস্থায় শুয়ে আছে।)

Ans:- Seeing the Beast lay half-dead, she was horrified. She immediately used the magic ring to return to the Beast. (পশুকে অর্ধমৃত দেখে সে ভীষণ আতঙ্কিত হয়ে গেল। সে তৎক্ষণাৎ জাদু আংটিটি ব্যবহার করল পশুটির কাছে ফেরার জন্য।)

Ans:- Seeing the Beast almost dead, Belle started to cry. She confessed her love for the Beast. The Beast was transformed into a handsome prince just as Belle's tears touched him. (পশুটিকে প্রায় মৃত দেখে বেল কাঁদতে শুরু করে। সে স্বীকার করে যে পশুকে সে ভালোবাসত। যেইমাত্র বেল্-এর চোখের জল তাকে স্পর্শ করে, পশুটি এক সুদর্শন রাজকুমারে পরিণত হয়।)
